Discover the fundamentals of serigraphy (screen printing) using the drawing fluid and screen filler process. In this one-day, hands-on workshop, participants will create a hand-drawn stencil directly on a screen before learning how to prepare, ink, register, and print a two-layer design.
Designed for beginners, this workshop provides an introduction to one of the most direct and expressive methods of screen printing. Each participant will complete a small edition of 10 original two-layer prints while gaining a solid foundation in the serigraphy process.

Kelvin Lopez is a Chicano printmaker and interdisciplinary artist working between Los Angeles and San Diego. He earned his BFA in Printmaking from California State University, Long Beach, and his MFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design.
